Strange, I thought gmail would notify me of any replies but it didn't. So far I like it. It's not without its quirks but they're just minor annoyances and nothing major. Handling isn't Ricoh-smooth and I prefer Ricoh's utilitarian approach rather than the retro look but I think I'll get used to it. I have yet to use it enough to say more about image quality but so far it seems promising. I decided to bite the bullet because it was reported that Adobe had finally fixed the RAW conversion issue for the X-Trans sensors but now I'm reading that it isn't quite 100% resolved. Still, I think it will be there soon and from what I understand it's no longer the major issue it once was. One of the additional benefits is that the OOC jpegs seem to be quite usable compared to other manufacturers. Hopefully this will save me time in the long run as I won't have to do RAW conversions all of the time.
I'm actually headed to a stag weekend in Brighton this weekend so if I get any spare time I will let you know! Would be good to meet up with you and Cris again soon.
Good to see you posting.
ReplyDeleteI like this one!
Btw, I went and bought myself an x100s...
Hi Kesh,
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
How are you getting on with the X100s? It's a nice camera to have with you every day. Looking forward to seeing what you can get out of it.
